Storyline:
Speak No Evil is a psychological horror thriller that delves into the unsettling dynamics of social politeness and the dangers of ignoring red flags. The film follows Bjørn and Louise, a Danish couple who, along with their daughter Agnes, befriend a Dutch family—Patrick, Karin, and their mute son Abel—while on vacation in Tuscany. Months later, they accept an invitation to visit the Dutch family’s countryside home. As the weekend progresses, the Danish family becomes increasingly uncomfortable with their hosts’ behavior, but their reluctance to confront or offend leads them down a harrowing path. The film culminates in a disturbing climax that challenges the boundaries of civility and the consequences of inaction.
